Case study 1: Manse Nursing home

“I took the gas companies readings for the three months December to February inclusive in 2008-9 and 2009-10 and the results are quite staggering. The cubic capacity of the new extension is some 757 cubic meters compared with 2,920 cubic meters for the original 30 bed home amounting to approx. 21% of the whole building. When we compared the increase in gas consumption with the extension in use to the previous period in 2008/9 the increase amounts to 7.3%.!! Kind Regards Les Ansell”

Case study 2: J & L Hoff’s house

“I had 200mm of Fiberglass insulation in the ceiling and roof of my house. When the wind was blowing, it blew through the fibreglass and caused the ceilings to be freezing cold and created constant draughts. After contracting Airseal Insulation to apply The Icynene Insulation System, I removed the old fibreglass which was black with mould at the eves. After Airseal Insulation sprayed the Icynene, the house feels completely different, it is quieter and warmer. We are so impressed with it that we are planning to have some more applied on the garage loft. It is 6 deg C outside and there is a biting North wind. In the loft it is 8 Deg C and all the ceilings and walls in the bedrooms are between 18 and 20 Deg C without the heating on. Before the Icynene was installed they were under 10 Deg C in these conditions. Indeed the whole house now is around 19 Deg C.” J & L Hoff, Lincolnshire
