Improved thermal efficiency

Air leakage and infiltration accounts for up to 50% of the heat loss from a building. Icynene^® air-seals all wood and steel-framed cavities, crevices and voids to provide a perfect fit for walls, crawl spaces, attics, ceilings and floors.

Icynene^® now delivers improved U-values, ranging from 0.30 W/m²K to 0.11 W/m²K depending on the construction detail used.

Perfect for complex detailing

Icynene^® fills all voids and hard-to-reach spaces, so complex detailing is never a problem. Cathedral ceilings, steel structures, domed ceilings, arches and other unusual shapes can all be insulated easily with Icynene^®.

Icynene^® is suitable for use in all methods of construction and can be applied to horizontal, vertical and sloping structures. Icynene^® adheres tenaciously to most substrates to create an air-tight envelope.

Icynene® is B-s1,d0 fire rated when tested to BS EN 13823:2002 without the use of PBDEs which have been identified as harmful flame retardants.

Icynene^® will not sustain flame when the flame source is removed. It will not melt or drip – and  leaves a charcoal residue

Good for the environment

Unlike other bio-based and urethane foams, Icynene^® is 100% water blown and, therefore, contains no harmful agents, volatile organic compounds, HFCs, PBDEs, HCFCs, HFAs, or formaldehyde. Icynene^® also uses renewable and recycled materials, so you’ll be making a smart choice for your customers and for the environment.
